Using the Default Look for Objects
After objects are added, you can format them in any way you want. And if necessary, you can remove the formatting from the selected object(s) and apply the default formatting for that particular type of object (e.g., oval, rectangle, bubble, line).

How to Use the Default Look for Objects
- Select one or more objects on an image. To select multiple objects, hold down the CTRL key and click each object.
- From the Object ribbon, click
. Alternatively, you can right-click the object and select Use Default Look.
- Click Yes.
- Click
to save your work.
Note You can also change the default look of any object type. See Setting the Default Look for Objects.
Example
You draw a rectangle on an image. When you select the rectangle tool from the local toolbar, the default factory settings are such that the rectangle initially has a thin black border and no fill color. Maybe you apply a green fill color to that object. If you then decide that you want to return to the default setting (in this case, no fill color), you can right-click the rectangle and select Use Default Look.
What's Next?
If necessary, you can continue editing the image (e.g., adding objects, effects, a callout; cropping the image; resizing the image). Otherwise, you can finalize the image by saving it. See Editing Images.
