Sending Images to the Windows Clipboard

You can send an image to the Windows clipboard. This lets you then paste the image into Microsoft applications (e.g., Paint, Word, Outlook). In addition, there is a feature in the Options dialog that lets you automatically send newly captured images to the Windows clipboard immediately. See Options Dialog.

How to Send an Image to the Windows Clipboard

1. Open the image.
2. Do one of the following.
   • Tool Strip Select File > Send To > Clipboard.
   • Standard Toolbar Click or click and then select Clipboard.

   You can use the Interface tab of the Options dialog (File > Options) to switch between ribbons and the classic tool strip layout.

After sending the image to the clipboard, you can open the secondary application (e.g., Microsoft Word) and paste the image.
