In addition to the key features in Contributor, the following are also available:
- Accessibility Accessibility has to do with making sure that your documentation can be accessed by people with disabilities (i.e., individuals who have visual, hearing, and mobility impairments). Documentation is considered accessible when it is easier for those with disabilities to use and easier to read using assistive technologies such as Microsoft Windows Narrator, Connect Outloud, and Job Access With Speech (JAWS). See About Accessibility.
- Dictionaries Dictionaries are used in Contributor to support the spell checking feature. See About Dictionaries.
- Language Support Contributor supports authoring and output for left-to-right (LTR) as well as right-to-left (RTL) languages. This includes English, French, German, Japanese, Chinese, Arabic, Persian, Hebrew, double-byte languages, and more. See Selecting a Language.
- Plug-In API A plug-in API lets you integrate Contributor with DLLs that you produce. For example, you might want to add customized ribbons, menus, or toolbar buttons to Contributor. See Plug-In API.
