Editing File Tag Sets
You might need to edit a file tag set from time to time. For example, if you have a file tag set designed to hold author names and you hire a new writer, you need to open the file tag set and add that author's name. You also might decide to change the tag type (e.g., change "Author" to "Contributor").
How to Edit a File Tag Set
- Open a review package.
- In the Review Package window pane, right-click on a file and select Properties.
- Click the File Tags tab.
- From the Tag Type field, select a tag type. The file tag sets using that tag type are listed below. The first file tag set is selected and the associated tags are shown on the right.
- Select the file tag set that you want to edit.
- Click Edit Set. The File Tag Set Editor opens. You can click Cancel to close the Properties dialog.

Do any of the following:
To Add a New Tag
- In the local toolbar of the File Tag Set Editor, click the New item button
. A new row is added.
- Press F2 on your keyboard.
- Replace the temporary tag name with a new one.
To Change the Tag Type
- In the local toolbar of the File Tag Set Editor, click the Tag Type: [Name] button.
- In the dialog, enter a new name for the tag type.
- Click OK.
To Rename a Tag
- Click the tag and press F2 on your keyboard.
- Type a new tag name.
- Press ENTER on your keyboard.
To Change or Add Comments for a Tag
- Click in the Comment cell of the tag.
- Press F2 on your keyboard.
- Type comments for the tag.
- Press ENTER on your keyboard.
To Delete a Tag
- Click on the tag row that you want to delete.
- In the local toolbar click

- In the local toolbar of the File Tag Set Editor, click the New item button

to save your work.
Note This feature is not supported for MadCap Lingo review package (LIREV) files.
