If you want to make changes to a stylesheet, use the following steps to open it. You can open stylesheets that you create or that are part of new standalone documents that you create. However, you cannot open the stylesheets that are associated with contribution templates or topics sent to you by Flare authors.

How to Open a Stylesheet From a Location on Your Computer
- Do one of the following, depending on the part of the user interface you are using:
- Ribbon Select File > Open.
- Keyboard Shortcut Press CTRL+O.
- Click in the Files of type field and select CSS Stylesheet Files (*.css).
- Navigate to the stylesheet that you want to open and double-click it. The stylesheet opens in the Stylesheet Editor or Table Style Editor, depending on whether you are opening a regular stylesheet or a table stylesheet.
How to Open a Stylesheet That is Part of a New Document
The following steps pertain to new documents that you create without using a contribution template from a Flare author.
- Open the document that you created.
- In the tool strip menu, select Tools > Edit Stylesheet. The stylesheet opens in the Stylesheet Editor.
