Deleting 3D Model Files From the Project

Use the following steps to remove a 3D model (U3D) file from a project. 3D model files are added to the project automatically when you insert a 3D model into a topic.

How to Delete a 3D Model File From a Project

  1. Open the Content Explorer.
  2. Expand the Resources folder, and double-click the Multimedia folder to open it (unless you have stored these files in a custom folder).
  3. Locate and select the U3D file that you want to delete.
  4. On your keyboard press DELETE.
  5. You may be asked if you are certain you want to send the file to the recycle bin. If so, click Yes.
