Adding Copyright Metadata to Online Topics

You can add copyright metadata to your topics in online output. After opening a topic in a browser, users can view the source to see the copyright information (e.g., in Chrome, right-click and select View page source).

How to Add Copyright Metadata to Online Topics

  1. Add a meta tag set file. See Creating Meta Tag Sets.

  2. In the local toolbar of the Meta Tag Set Editor, click , and select Text.

  3. In the new meta tag area, provide a Name (e.g., copyright).

  4. In the Value field, enter your copyright information. If you want to insert a variable in a field, you can click Insert Variable button. The variable will appear as syntax in the field, but in the output the variable definition will be shown.

  5. Click Save the active file. to save your work.
