Managing Projects Using the Command Line

Use the following steps if you want to manage a Lingo project using the command line. Using this method, you do not have to open Lingo at all.

Depending on the command(s) used, you can accomplish any of the following.

  • Export a Lingo project
  • Export a Lingo project in a specific language
  • Update/sync a Lingo project with the source file

The best way to use the command line feature is to create a batch file with the necessary commands in it. Then you can use a scheduling tool (such as the Task Scheduler utility in Windows) to run the batch file automatically whenever you want.
