Editing Custom Dictionaries
After a custom global
How to Edit a Custom Dictionary
- Select Tools > Edit Dictionary.
- From the drop-down, select the kind of dictionary you want to edit: Global or Project. Any global or project dictionaries that you've created in various languages are listed below.
- From the grid, select the dictionary you want to edit.
- Click OK. The Dictionary Editor opens.

Edit the dictionary by doing any of the following:
To Edit a Word
- Click a word in the dictionary.
- Retype the word.
- Press ENTER.
To Add a Word
- In the local toolbar, click . A new row is added with temporary text.
- Click on the temporary text.
- Type the word that you want to add to the dictionary.
- Press ENTER.
To Add an Internal Comment
- Click in the Comment column next to the word.
- Type the internal comment.
- Press ENTER.
To Delete a Word
- Click the row with the word that you want to delete.
- In the local toolbar, click .
- Click to save your work.
