Use this dialog to remove files from the list of recently opened files. This allows you to keep the list shorter and more manageable.
Do one of the following, depending on the part of the user interface you are using:
Ribbon Select File>Manage Recent Files.

Removes all files from the list. |

Removes the selected file(s) from the list. You can hold the SHIFT key to select a range, or you can hold the CTRL key to select individual items. |
Note: When you use this feature, the file is merely removed from the list, but the actual file is not deleted.
Note: The maximum number of recent files saved in the registry is 30.
