Enabling and Disabling the Magnifier

When you record a region, a large square displays on your screen, showing a close-up of the area where your cursor is located. This helps you to more accurately select a specific area of the screen to record. You can deselect this option if you do not want to see the magnifier.

How to Enable or Disable the Magnifier

1. Select File > Recording Options.

   The Recording Options dialog opens.

   Note You can also open this dialog from the Options button at the bottom of the recording area. 

2. In the Options section, click Show magnifier when selecting record region to add or remove the check mark.
3. Click OK in the Recording Options dialog.
