Language Support

Capture is fully Unicode capable, making it possible to handle the entire world’s Unicode language characters. Capture not only supports Western European languages, but also multi-byte Asian languages, Eastern European languages, and more. Therefore, you can "localize" (i.e., select other languages for) your images internally and externally.

Ways to Use Languages in Capture

  • Select the Spell Check Language You can select a specific language to be used for spell checking object text within images. See Selecting a Language.
  • Localize Image Object Text If your computer system is set up to type in another language, you can add text to objects (such as bubble callouts and rectangles) in that language. You can do this within the Capture interface. In addition, because Capture's object property (PROPS) files are XML-based, these files can be delivered to a translator in order to localize the text. See Adding Text.

Supported Languages

You can add object text in left-to-right (LTR) as well as right-to-left (RTL) languages, as long as your computer is set up appropriately.
