With MadCap Feedback, users can give a rating to a topic, selecting from one to five stars. You can then view these ratings (which are displayed as a numerical score from 0 to 100) and make adjustments to the topics as necessary.
How to view ratings for a topic
Select View>Topics.
Double-click the topic whose ratings you want to view.
The Topic View window pane opens.
Select the Rating tab.
A chart is displayed in the window pane, with the data shown below in a grid.
You can see the number and percentage for each rating score (5 stars=100, 4 stars=80, 3 stars=60, 2 stars=40, 1 star=20). For example the Topic View window pane might indicate that 40% is the overall average score of the topic, with users giving the topic 5 stars twice, 4 stars once, and 3 stars twice.
(Optional) You can limit the columns of information to be included in the grid and chart. To do this, complete the following steps.
(Optional) You can change the type of chart shown. To do this, click the chart type filter field in the local toolbar and make a selection. Initially this field displays the type of chart currently used (e.g., "Bar" or "Pie"), but the label changes with each selection you make.
