Converting an Object
You can convert an object from one type to another. This lets you convert regular shapes into action objects so they will appear only if a particular event occurs (e.g., clicking a button, double-clicking a shape). Action objects are often associated with interactive objects, such as input boxes or buttons, but can also be associated with regular shapes, such as rectangles or loops. See Interactive Objects.

What's Next?
After you create an action object, you can associate it with an interactive object to create different kinds of effects in your movies. For example, you can use action objects to show a feedback bubble when a user enters text into an input box, or to trigger a cursor to move across the frame when a user clicks a button. See Selecting Actions for Objects.
